Imagine a fictional month that is 12 days long and spread throughout the year. It only occurs when the day of the month matches the current month's number, e.g. Jan 1, Feb 2, Mar 3, and so forth. Call it Novebruary.

The derivation of the name is a portmanteau of the months "November" and "February". Like February, the first R is silent. Novebruary is a popular time in some cultures to exchange gifts, consummate, and visit imprisoned relatives (sometimes all three!).

Now, extend this to have to match the year too. We call this Septogust.
